(For
the adventurous!!!) The Shenandoah River (Public Access) is within walking
distance to enjoy fishing, canoeing, tubing, and kayaking. An outfitter
is also located within walking distance. This is the place to get out
and stretch your legs with direct access to the George Washington National
Forest and the Appalachian Trail. Are you looking at some down time? Just
sit back and relax in the screened in porch or sooth those aching muscles
in the hot tub. The cabin property attaches to the George Washington National
Forest. Luray is only a few miles away for the local attractions, the
Luray Caverns is a must. Roast hot dogs and marshmallows at the open fire
pit. Look at nature up close. Only 30 minutes away the family can enjoy
the Massanutten Water park. Lake Arrowhead Park is only a few miles away
to enjoy the beach area and spacious picnic area. Please ask about the
hunting opportunities.
