Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, this seven acre plantation dates back to 1754. Our area is steeped in history, with several civil war battlefields only minutes away. George Custer attempted to burn our barn down while stealing livestock during the battle of Mt. Clifton in October of 1864.
We are minutes away from Bryce Resort, a four season resort with endless amenities including skiing and golf, even an airport. We are only 45 minutes from Winchester and 20 minutes from Harrisonburg.
"The WING"comes with it's own private entrance, is handicapped accessible.
The master bedroom overlooks the trout pond which is open year round. There is a covered porch that overlooks the pond where you can sit and look at the stars in the evening, have dinner or breakfast and coffee in the morning. This is an attached wing of a private historical home.
One free pond fed Trout per adult, per night. There is a gas grill for cooking your catch of the day and a campfire area at pond's edge.
Since we are located in some of the best horse country in the world, HORSES ARE WELCOME!! They can stay in the barn Custer couldn't burn. There is a fee of $25 per day per horse. So get away from the rat race and experience country living at it's finest. Stroll the grounds, feed our fish and sheep; catch huge fish, or just sit back and enjoy nature at it's finest.
